All Sevens (One Spinner) Dominoes Game Rules

  • In All Sevens Dominoes game, players try to match all scoring ends of the layout on their turn so that adjacent ends total seven.
  • 0-0 is removed from the game and each player gets certain number of tiles (7 tiles each for 2-player game, 6 tiles for 3-player and 5 tiles for 4-player game) at the beginning of each round. Remaining tiles are set aside forming a boneyard.
  • First turn or lead is decided by a draw of lot (each player draws one tile and highest tile starts the round). In subsequent round first turn is passed to the next player clockwise from current lead.
  • First turn can be started with any tile. Subsequent tiles can then be played at the open ends of the layout if adjacent ends of the tiles total 7.
  • Doubles are placed horizontally similar to non-doubles. The first double played is a spinner (tiles can be placed on four sides of the spinner).
  • If a player can not play, then he/she must draw from the boneyard until either he/she gets a playable tile or, the boneyard has only 2 tiles left.
  • If player draws a tile which can be immediately played, then it must be played.
  • If player can not play a tile and can not draw from the boneyard either, then he/she simply passes the turn to next player.
  • The round ends if a player has played all of his/her tiles. Round can also end if the game is blocked which means no tile can be played by any of the players.
  • Winner of the round is the player who played all his/her tiles, or the player with lowest score. If more than one player have the same lowest score, then no point is awarded for that round.
  • Points are awarded to the player by counting difference of his/her pips count and total pips count of remaining players.
  • The game is played for multiple rounds and player with highest score above 100 wins.
  • The other variants of this game are Seven Up and All Sevens (no spinner).
